     William Earnest Goff was born on 12 December 1875 in Illinois. He was the son of George A. Goff and Genoah Olive Miles. William Earnest Goff married Ludia Adell Young on 1 August 1894 at Madison County, Tennessee. William Earnest Goff died on 19 November 1935 in Alpena Pass, Boone County, Arkansas, at age 59. He was buried at Little Rock National Cemetery, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

     Ludia Adell Young was born on 5 November 1875 in Mississippi. As of 1 August 1894,her married name was Goff. She married William Earnest Goff, son of George A. Goff and Genoah Olive Miles, on 1 August 1894 at Madison County, Tennessee. As of 22 April 1906,her married name was Swindler. Ludia Adell Young married George Swindler on 22 April 1906 at McNairy County, Tennessee. Ludia Adell Young died on 7 December 1955 in Bessmay, Jasper County, Texas, at age 80. She was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Jasper, Jasper County, Texas.

     Everett Bryan Goff was born on 20 July 1896 in Jackson, Tennessee. He was the son of William Earnest Goff and Ludia Adell Young. Everett Bryan Goff married Hattie Ann Bonds circa 1916. Everett Bryan Goff died on 4 June 1966 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, at age 69. He was buried at Luxora, Arkansas.

     Hattie Ann Bonds was born on 9 April 1897 in Tuka, Mississippi. As of circa 1916,her married name was Goff. She married Everett Bryan Goff, son of William Earnest Goff and Ludia Adell Young, circa 1916. Hattie Ann Bonds died on 2 November 1975 in Dickinson, Galveston County, Texas, at age 78.      Earl Eugene Goff was born on 28 January 1923 in Texas. He was the son of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds. Earl Eugene Goff married Daisy Lorain Burks after 1940. Earl Eugene Goff died on 5 July 1982 in Alvin, Brazoria County, Texas, at age 59.

     Delores Goff was born on 9 February 1925 in Jasper, Jasper County, Texas. She was the daughter of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds. As of after 1942,her married name was Blackburn. Delores Goff married (?) Blackburn after 1942. Delores Goff died on 13 February 2011 in Tupelo, Lee County, Mississippi, at age 86. She was buried at Tupelo Memorial Park Cemetery, Tupelo, Lee County, Mississippi.

     Howard Nathaniel Goff was born on 17 March 1927 in Jasper County, Texas. He was the son of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds. He served as a Seaman 2 Class in the United States Naval Reserve (Service Number: 722-42-93) during World War II from from 2 August 1944 to 30 July 1946. Howard Nathaniel Goff died on 9 December 1946 at age 19 killed in a car/bus accident. He was buried at Corinth National Cemetery, Corinth, Mississippi.

     Thomas Raymond Goff was also known as Raymond Goff. He was born on 16 March 1929 in Jasper County, Texas. He was the son of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds. Thomas Raymond Goff married Mildred Katherine Ramsey after 1945. Thomas Raymond Goff married Wilma R. Tillman on 31 October 1969 at Cherokee County, Texas. Thomas Raymond Goff died on 9 July 1986 in Cherokee County, Texas, at age 57 from injuries sustained in a two-car accident. He was buried on 10 July 1986 at Tillman Cemetery, Cherokee County, Texas.

     Bobbie Elouise Goff is the daughter of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds.

     Wilma R. Tillman was born on 31 August 1934 in Cherokee County, Texas. As of 31 December 1952,her married name was Gibson. She married James Rollan Gibson on 31 December 1952 at Galveston County, Texas. Wilma R. Tillman and James Rollan Gibson were divorced on 6 February 1969 at Galveston County, Texas. As of 31 October 1969,her married name was Goff. Wilma R. Tillman married Thomas Raymond Goff, son of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds, on 31 October 1969 at Cherokee County, Texas. Wilma R. Tillman died on 9 November 2000 in Jacksonville, Cherokee County, Texas, at age 66. She was buried at Tillman Cemetery, Cherokee County, Texas.

     Mildred Katherine Ramsey was born on 17 May 1928 in Humbolt, Gibson County, Tennessee. As of after 1945,her married name was Goff. She married Thomas Raymond Goff, son of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds, after 1945. Mildred Katherine Ramsey died on 4 December 2014 in Trinity, Trinity County, Texas, at age 86. She was buried at Jonesville Cemetery, Huntington, Angelina County, Texas.

     Jerry Wayne Goff is the son of Thomas Raymond Goff and Mildred Katherine Ramsey. Jerry Wayne Goff married Nancy Ann Burkeans on 19 June 1975 at McNairy County, Tennessee. Jerry Wayne Goff married Glenda G. Woods on 28 April 1999.

     James Earl Goff was born on 27 November 1950. He was the son of Thomas Raymond Goff and Mildred Katherine Ramsey. James Earl Goff married Karen Levina Brown on 21 November 1973 at McNairy County, Tennessee. James Earl Goff died on 30 May 1984 in Galveston County, Texas, at age 33. He was buried at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

     Karen Levina Brown married James Earl Goff, son of Thomas Raymond Goff and Mildred Katherine Ramsey, on 21 November 1973 at McNairy County, Tennessee.

     Patricia Agnes Goff was born on 19 October 1956 in Osceola, Mississippi County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Thomas Raymond Goff and Mildred Katherine Ramsey. As of 8 July 1974,her married name was Gilbreath. Patricia Agnes Goff married Roy L. Gilbreath on 8 July 1974. As of 15 September 1984,her married name was Lamon. Patricia Agnes Goff married Randal Scott Lamon on 15 September 1984. Patricia Agnes Goff and Randal Scott Lamon were divorced on 26 February 1996 at Angelina County, Texas. Patricia Agnes Goff died on 19 November 2004 in Diboll, Angelina County, Texas, at age 48. She was buried at Jonesville Cemetery, Huntington, Angelina County, Texas.

     Randal Scott Lamon was born on 28 October 1965. He married Patricia Agnes Goff, daughter of Thomas Raymond Goff and Mildred Katherine Ramsey, on 15 September 1984. Randal Scott Lamon and Patricia Agnes Goff were divorced on 26 February 1996 at Angelina County, Texas. Randal Scott Lamon died on 12 October 2001 at age 35.

     James Rollan Gibson married Wilma R. Tillman on 31 December 1952 at Galveston County, Texas. James Rollan Gibson and Wilma R. Tillman were divorced on 6 February 1969 at Galveston County, Texas.

     George Swindler was born circa 1861 in Kentucky. He married Ludia Adell Young on 22 April 1906 at McNairy County, Tennessee.

     Daisy Lorain Burks was born on 6 December 1921 in McNairy County, Tennessee. As of after 1940,her married name was Goff. She married Earl Eugene Goff, son of Everett Bryan Goff and Hattie Ann Bonds, after 1940. Daisy Lorain Burks died on 1 April 2003 in Brazoria County, Texas, at age 81. She was buried at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, Harris County, Texas.

     Ronnie Earl Goff is the son of Earl Eugene Goff and Daisy Lorain Burks.

     Laura Gowers was born on 22 January 1874 in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. As of 4 September 1894,her married name was Goff. She married George A. Goff, son of John C. Goff and Margaret Kennedy Wood, on 4 September 1894 at Madison County, Tennessee. Laura Gowers died on 11 December 1950 in Steele, Pemiscot County, Missouri, at age 76

Services were held for Mrs. Laura Goff, December 13, 1950 at 10:00 a.m., at the German Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Niblack officiating. Interment was at the Mount Zion Cemetery with the German Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Goff was born January 22, 1874 at Jackson, Tenn., and died December 11, 1950, at the age of 76 years. She lived 44 years in the Steele community. She is the widow of the late George Goff.

Surviving are one son, Archie Goff, of Steele, one daughter, Mrs. Susie Hutchenson of St. Louis; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Roy Marshall, O.V. Wells, R. Pritchard, Elmo Michie, M.H. Farris and Bert Poteet.



She was buried at Mount Zion Cemetery, Steele, Pemiscot County, Missouri.

     George Louis Goff was born on 25 September 1895 in Tennessee. He was the son of George A. Goff and Laura Gowers. George Louis Goff lived in 1917 in Pemiscot County, Missouri. He died on 29 September 1918 in Argonne Forest, France, at age 23

On fame's eternal camping ground,

When our great country went to war; when America offered her best, the flower and chivalry of her young manhood, George volunteered, thus placing his life at the disposal of his country. And we cannot do those dear boys who were willing to make the supreme sacrifice too much honor. George was in Company B 35 division and was killed in the great battle of Argonne Forest, on September 29, 1918, at 6 o'clock in the evening. In two hours after George was killed, their company was relieved by the Wildcat Division. His body was buried in a lonely trench in France, until the great war ended. The body was returned to his parents and many friends Monday, August 15, when it was placed in the armory hall to await for the return of the National Home Guard from Sedalia. They and the Masons bore it gently to its last resting place, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Wednesday.
In Flanders Field the graves of American soldiers are no more worthy tribute to American valor than are the graves of soldier boys who died in camp in America during the war, and in the homes of America as an aftermath of the terrible scourage of war, and as long as the Republic has loving women and patroitic men their heroes will not be forgotten.
George's death seems to us, who loved him, with our shortsightedness, a tragedy, but there are no accidents in the providence of God. If the dear father and mother, the sister and brother and the sorrowing friends will cling to the hand of One who is too wise to make a mistake, too good to be unkind, after awhile their broken hearts will be healed, and they can look up through their tears and say with God's tender smile of approval, "Thy will be done." Let us remember, "The Captain of our salvation was made perfect through suffering, for though He were a son, yet learned obedience by the things which He suffered." Let us think that as his comrade in arms stood silent guard by the dear boy's body in the casket, so we should stand silent guard by our friends in the hour of trial, knowing that:
Behind the dim unknown,
Sitteth God with the shadows,
Keeping watch above his own.
Taps has sounded for our soldier boy; the next reveille will be on the Eternal Camping Ground, when our Great Commander will call the roll; and since George had put his trust in this Captain of the unnumbered hosts of the blood-washed throng, he will be ready to answer, "Here."
We have laid George away as tenderly as we knew how, his casket wrapped in the folds of Old Glory, an eloquet though silent, witness to the fact that he was called to the colors, that he answered the call, and that he has a part in Collins' immortal ode:
How sleep the brave who sink to rest
By all their country's wishes blest;
When Spring with dewy fingers cold
Returns to seek their hallowed mold.
She there shall dress a sweeter sod
Than fancy's feet have ever trod.
By fiery hands their kneel is rung;
By fiery hands their knell is sung;
Their honor comes, a Pilgrim gray,
To bless the turf that wraps their clay;
And freedom shall awhile repair
To dwell, a weeping hermit there.
