Bobby Ray Bagwell Sr. married Carol Freeman before 1965. Bobby Ray Bagwell Sr. died on 14 November 1990 in Chester County Hospital, Chester County, South Carolina, at age 57. He was buried at Chester Memorial Gardens, Chester, Chester County, South Carolina.

     Margie Lee Bagwell was born on 13 March 1924. She was the daughter of Benjamin Perry Bagwell and Minnie Anderson. As of after 1945,her married name was Hamacher. Margie Lee Bagwell married Albert L. Hamacher after 1945. Margie Lee Bagwell died on 10 April 2008 at age 84. She was buried at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina.

     Clyde Blue Bagwell was born on 13 August 1940 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was the son of John Daniel Bagwell Jr. and Julia Ellen Morecock. Clyde Blue Bagwell married Paula Cannon in 1964. Clyde Blue Bagwell died on 19 March 2026 in Georgia at age 85


Mr. C. Blue Bagwell, age 85, passed away on March 19, 2026. Born August 13, 1940 in Lawrenceville, Georgia, he was the son of John Daniel Bagwell and Julia Morcock Bagwell. He was a sixth generation Gwinnettian, was in the first graduating class of Central Gwinnett High School, and a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. He married Paula Cannon, of Snellville, in 1964 and they had three children: Jeff, John, and Julie.

As a teenager, Blue worked at Monfort Drug Company, Inc. on the courthouse square in Lawrenceville, and after college, he worked for Lockheed in Marietta, GA. He later joined, as a partner, at Hannon, Meeks, & Bagwell, Surveyors & Engineers, Inc. in Lawrenceville.

In addition to his parents, Blue was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Paula; brothers, Dan, and Charles Bagwell. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ballard (Lawrenceville, GA); children, Jeffrey Blue Bagwell (Charleston, SC), John Daniel Bagwell III (Smyrna, GA), and Julie Bagwell/Russ Hancock (Dawsonville, GA); 5 grandchildren, Zachary Blue Bagwell and wife Kayleigh (Dublin, OH), Creedence Bagwell Rossi and husband Matt (Atlanta, GA), Leon Miles Bagwell (Atlanta, GA), Floyd Forrest Bagwell (Charleston, SC), and Francis Cullen Bagwell (Charleston, SC); 4 great grandchildren, Bennett Blue Bagwell, Briggs Blue Bagwell, Sloane Winter Rossi, and Leon Albert Rossi; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The Service to Honor and Remember the Life of Blue Bagwell will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:30 A.M. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Dr. Adam Hilderbrandt officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23rd from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday, March 24th from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Paula Cannon Bagwell, age 60, of Lawrenceville, GA, died July 8, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Jewell Gilleland Cannon of Snellville, GA. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Blue Bagwell. Other survivors include sons, Jeffrey Bagwell, Charleston, SC; John Bagwell, Lawrenceville; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Russell Hancock, Suwanee; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Wiley Puckett, Loganville; Violette Burrell, Lavonia; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Susan Bagwell, Brunswick; sister-in-law, Mary Ballard, Joaquin, TX; uncle, Charlie Cannon, Snellville; grandchildren, Zachary, Creedence, Miles, Forrest and Cullen Bagwell, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Bagwell was active in youth activities such as Cub Scouts and Brownies when her children were young, arts through the Junior Woman's Club and was a founding member of the Gwinnett Council for the Arts which presented her the 1986 "Gwinnie Award". She was a 6th generation Gwinnett Countian and actively participated in preparation of "Gwinnett County Families, 1818-1968" published by the Gwinnett Historical Society. Paula was a proud mother and doting grandmother. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 12, at 11:00 AM at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Interment, Gwinnett Memorial Park. Blair Bagwell, 24, loving daughter of C. Stanley Bagwell and Pamela Denise Bagwell, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at her home.

Blair was born on June 3, 1997, in Greenville South Carolina. She was a student of Pickens High School. Blair loved all her family, friends, and nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed going to the lake and to the beach.

Survivors include her parents; stepfather Rick Phillips; stepmother Traci Bagwell; her siblings; Bree Reeves (Gregg) of Easley, Brandi Darnell of Piedmont, Laura Phillips of Greenville, Sidney Morris of Pumpkintown, and Jamie Morris of Liberty; her nieces and nephews; Finn Huffman, Caroline Reeves, Greggory Reeves Jr., Zamari Freeman, Clay, Kyle, Eli, Alexis, and McKenzie Darnell.

Blair was predeceased by her grandparents; Barbara Hiott, Virginia Winslow, Charles Allen Hiott; a uncle Steve Bagwell and a nephew; Jaidon Morris.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 4,2021 in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral home located at 105 Florence Street Pickens SC, 29671 from 2:00-3:00.
