     Emma Lorene Bagwell was born on 15 February 1932 in Georgia. She was the daughter of William Lonzo Bagwell and Lora Velma Whiting. As of after 1950,her married name was Maupin. Emma Lorene Bagwell married Sandy Maupin after 1950. Emma Lorene Bagwell died on 19 December 2007 in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County, Georgia, at age 75.

     Martha Euel Charles was born on 28 January 1939 in Georgia.¹ As of 1957,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Govan B. Bagwell, son of George William Bagwell and Effie A Waldrip, in 1957.¹ Martha Euel Charles died on 29 April 2017 at age 78
Martha Euel Bagwell, 78, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017. Martha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Martha was a life-long resident of Forsyth County. A member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, she was a supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the Boy Scouts of America. Martha is preceded in death by a son, Darren Bagwell, brothers, Richard and Robert Charles, and a sister, Margie Alphin.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Govan Bagwell of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Deliah and Rex Gravitt of Forsyth County; grandchildren, Evan, Gabriel, and Alexander Gravitt; sister, Sheila Cohely of Dawsonville; sister-in-law, Margie Charles of Cumming; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry English, Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow Sawnee View Gardens.

James Delano Bagwell, age 89, of Martin, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at Home Sweet Home of Toccoa.

Born March 27, 1934, in Martin, he was the son of the late William Lonnie Bagwell and Lora Velma (Whiting) Bagwell. He was a veteran of the US Army. Before retirement he worked at Simmons Mattress Company. He was a member of Clarks Creek Baptist Church. One of his favorite hobbies was playing his guitar.

In addition to his parents. He was preceded in death by a sister: Lonnie Sue Bagwell.

He is survived by siblings: Bruce Bagwell, Lorene Maupin, and Martha Phillips; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Smith officiating and with honors provided by the US Army.

A private burial will take place in Clarks Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

     Janice Elizabeth Dishman married William Frank Bagwell, son of William Gray Bagwell and Aurora Vivian Watson, on 9 June 1930. Janice Elizabeth Dishman and William Frank Bagwell were divorced on 17 May 1952 at Norfolk, Norfolk County, Virginia.

     Mary Ellen Bagwell was born circa 1935 in Virginia. She was the daughter of William Frank Bagwell and Janice Elizabeth Dishman. As of 27 March 1961,her married name was Yates. Mary Ellen Bagwell married Charles Kenneth Yates on 27 March 1961 at Norfolk, Norfolk County, Virginia.

     Chantal Mariane Jacques married Thomas Nathan Bagwell, son of Leland Horace Bagwell and Clarice Cross, on 26 December 1992 at Miami, Florida.¹

     Remi Jacqueline Bagwell is the daughter of Thomas Nathan Bagwell and Chantal Mariane Jacques.¹

     Kirsten Clarice Bagwell is the daughter of Thomas Nathan Bagwell and Chantal Mariane Jacques.¹

     Ernest Reed Bagwell was born circa 1906 in Virginia. He was the son of Unknown Bagwell. Ernest Reed Bagwell married Tabitha White before 1924.

     Tabitha White was also known as Lovania White.¹ Tabitha White was also known as Louella White. She was born on 6 January 1906 in Virginia.² As of before 1924,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ernest Reed Bagwell, son of Unknown Bagwell, before 1924. Tabitha White died on 17 May 2012 in Whitesville, Accomack County, Virginia, at age 106
106 years old, resident of Whitesville passed away at her residence.

She was married to the late Ernest Reed Bagwell. One surviving daughter to cherish her memories and four children predeceased her. A funeral service was held at Adams United Methodist Church, Whitesville. Rev. Lewis T. Brim officiated.

He served as a SIM1 in the US Navy during World War II. Ernest Reed Bagwell Jr. married Rosetta Griffin before 1946. Ernest Reed Bagwell Jr. died on 14 March 1995 in Verteran's Hospital, Elsmere, Delaware, at age 70. On Wednesday evening, May 27, 2020, after a long period of declining health, her Lord and Savior called our precious mother home. Helen M. Bagwell, 94, was born August 24, 1925, in Spartanburg County, SC, to James E. and Alma Seay Mason. On February 14, 1942, she married the love of her life, Frank M. Bagwell and they had 54 ½ beautiful years together before his passing in 1996. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and retired as manager from Top Value Enterprises.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Connie B. Nelson and her son, Matt Bagwell. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kelly Gilbert, Matthew Bagwell (Haley), and Byars Bagwell (Sydney Achee); and one great-grandchild, Luke Gilbert; as well as her much-loved caregiver, Jennifer Owens. Also surviving is her brother, Robert S. Mason and his wife, Alice of Conyers, GA. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters, Howard, Roy, Eunice, Gertrude, and her dearest Marion and Pauline.
We take comfort in knowing what great joy there is in Heaven today.
We would like to express much appreciation to Interim Healthcare Hospice for their loving care; especially Teresa, Tori, and Chaplain Scott Linnerud. Also, heartfelt gratitude to the Hilltop Fire Department for their many acts of kindness over the years in taking care of our family.
A graveside service, with social distancing, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 1, 2020, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Glenn Rusher.
