     Peggy Diane Bagwell is the daughter of Lewis Clayton Bagwell and Mable Winnie Monk. Peggy Diane Bagwell married Donald Ray Resecker on 19 January 1973 at Pulaski County, Arkansas. Peggy Diane Bagwell married Hugo Clark Frank on 23 June 1978 at Pulaski, Arkansas.

     Carrie Bagwell was born on 28 April 1905 in Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Marcus B. Bagwell and Emmaline "Emily" Conly.¹ As of after 1920,her married name was Powell.² Carrie Bagwell married Perry Fields Powell after 1920.² Carrie Bagwell died on 24 August 2002 in Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina, at age 97.¹ She was buried at Gillespie Evergreen Cemetery, Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹

     Perry Fields Powell was born on 26 August 1899 in Pickens County, South Carolina.¹ He married Carrie Bagwell, daughter of Marcus B. Bagwell and Emmaline "Emily" Conly, after 1920.¹ Perry Fields Powell died on 26 January 1982 in Gastonia, Gaston County, South Carolina, at age 82.¹ He was buried at Gillespie Evergreen Cemetery, Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹

     Virginia Ann Bagwell was born on 12 September 1942 in Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Augustus Littleton Bagwell and Beulah Irene Reid.¹ As of after 1957,her married name was Stamey. Virginia Ann Bagwell married J. C. Stamey after 1957. Virginia Ann Bagwell died on 1 July 2014 in Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina, at age 71.¹ She was buried at Mack McCall Cemetery, Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹

     J. C. Stamey married Virginia Ann Bagwell, daughter of Augustus Littleton Bagwell and Beulah Irene Reid, after 1957.

     Augustus Lane Bagwell was also known as Lane Bagwell. He was born on 3 February 1945.¹ He was the son of Augustus Littleton Bagwell and Beulah Irene Reid.¹ He served as a Specialist in the US Army during the Vietnam War.¹ Augustus Lane Bagwell married Judith Pamela Edenfield before 1978. Augustus Lane Bagwell died on 24 March 2009 at age 64.¹ He was buried at Big Hill Cemetery, Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹

     Staff Sergeant Charlie Lane Bagwell was born on 24 October 1978 in Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹ He was the son of Augustus Lane Bagwell and Judith Pamela Edenfield.^1,2

Staff Sgt. Charlie L. Bagwell 28, of Lake Toxaway, N.C; assigned to the 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 82nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C; died May 30 in Upper Sangin Valley, Afghanistan, when his CH-47 Chinook helicopter crashed apparently due to enemy fire. Also killed were Chief Warrant Officer 3 Christopher M. Allgaier, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Joshua R. Rodgers, Sgt. Jesse A. Blamires and Sgt. Brandon E. Hadaway. Charlie also has a memorial marker at Arlington National Cemetery.

     Sarah Jane Galloway was born on 19 April 1863 in Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹ As of 7 September 1905,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married John Christopher Bagwell, son of Private James Adolphus Bagwell and Patsy Caroline Whitmire, on 7 September 1905 at Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹ Sarah Jane Galloway died on 19 April 1914 in Transylvania County, North Carolina, at age 51.¹ She was buried at Gillespie Evergreen Cemetery, Brevard, Transylvania County, North Carolina.²

     Catherine Bagwell was born in 1865. She was the daughter of John Christopher Bagwell and Mary Adeline Cison.

     Joseph Fleming Cison was born on 30 March 1835 in North Carolina.¹ He married Sarah Ann Bagwell, daughter of Private James Adolphus Bagwell and Patsy Caroline Whitmire, before 1868.¹ Joseph Fleming Cison died on 22 May 1916 in Dunns Rock, Transylvania County, North Carolina, at age 81.¹ He was buried at Carsons Creek Baptist Church, Transylvania County, North Carolina.¹

     John Minor Bagwell was born on 17 February 1870 in Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia. He was the son of William Bagwell and Martha A. Blackstock. John Minor Bagwell married Olla Josephine 'Josie' Barrett on 24 December 1891. John Minor Bagwell died on 2 September 1943 in Fulton County, Georgia, at age 73. He was buried on 5 September 1943 at West View Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.

     Olla Josephine 'Josie' Barrett was born on 23 May 1876 in Georgia. As of 24 December 1891,her married name was Bagwell. She married John Minor Bagwell, son of William Bagwell and Martha A. Blackstock, on 24 December 1891. Olla Josephine 'Josie' Barrett died on 14 February 1944 in Fulton County, Georgia, at age 67.

     Arthur Lauper Bagwell was born on 24 November 1892 in Georgia. He was the son of John Minor Bagwell and Olla Josephine 'Josie' Barrett. Arthur Lauper Bagwell married Mai Juliette Carroll circa 1919 at Richland County, South Carolina. Arthur Lauper Bagwell died on 4 November 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio, at age 72.

     Altontine Bagwell was born in December 1894 in Georgia. She was the daughter of John Minor Bagwell and Olla Josephine 'Josie' Barrett.

     Carl Dewey Bagwell Sr. was born on 21 February 1898 in Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of John Minor Bagwell and Olla Josephine 'Josie' Barrett. He enlisted as a 2nd Lt. in the US Army Infanty. He served in Compnay K, 327the Infantry and then to Company B and D of the 318 th Infanty. He was stationed in France and served overseas from July 18, 1918 to January 3, 1919. He was wounded at Argonne on September 29, 1918. Carl Dewey Bagwell Sr. married Irene Broma Sockwell before 1920. Carl Dewey Bagwell Sr. died on 22 December 1969 in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia, at age 71
Carl Dewey Bagwell, Sr. was born in Hall County, Gainesville, Georgia on February 21, 1898. His wife, Irene, always teased him that he was one day older than George Washington. He was a tall man, 6' 3", and was nicknamed "Biggy" from the shortening of his nickname, Big Boy, bestowed by his wife, Irene. The grandchildren converted it to "Biggy". He worked for many years for Gulf Oil Company, retiring after working over three decades for the company. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech.¹
He was buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia.¹

     Irene Broma Sockwell was also known as Broma Irene Sockwell. She was born on 8 March 1898 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.¹ As of before 1920,her married name was Bagwell. She married Carl Dewey Bagwell Sr., son of John Minor Bagwell and Olla Josephine 'Josie' Barrett, before 1920. Irene Broma Sockwell died on 9 June 1965 in Atlanta, DeKalb County, Georgia, at age 67.¹ She was buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia.¹

     Patricia Claire Bagwell was born on 24 December 1920 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Carl Dewey Bagwell Sr. and Irene Broma Sockwell. As of before 1943,her married name was Gladden. Patricia Claire Bagwell married Joseph Brantley Gladden before 1943. Patricia Claire Bagwell died on 30 June 2001 in Norcross, Gwinnett County, Georgia, at age 80.¹ She was buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia.¹

     Joseph Brantley Gladden was born on 22 October 1917 in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia. He married Patricia Claire Bagwell, daughter of Carl Dewey Bagwell Sr. and Irene Broma Sockwell, before 1943. Joseph Brantley Gladden died on 21 June 1990 in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia, at age 72.

     Carl Dewey Bagwell Jr. was born on 12 January 1923 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Carl Dewey Bagwell Sr. and Irene Broma Sockwell.      Sara Adeline Bagwell was born on 13 September 1911 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell and Lillie Butler Moore. As of 17 September 1930,her married name was Angel. Sara Adeline Bagwell married Vernon George Angel on 17 September 1930 at Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Sara Adeline Bagwell died on 31 March 1991 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at age 79.

     Vernon George Angel was born on 28 August 1909 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. He married Sara Adeline Bagwell, daughter of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell and Lillie Butler Moore, on 17 September 1930 at Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Vernon George Angel died on 4 May 1986 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at age 76.

     Nathaniel Luther Bagwell Jr. was born on 22 March 1913 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell and Lillie Butler Moore. Nathaniel Luther Bagwell Jr. married Jean Quarles Stephens on 9 March 1939.¹ Nathaniel Luther Bagwell Jr. died on 14 February 1954 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, at age 40 of pancreatic cancer.¹ He was buried on 15 February 1954 at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee;
Nathaniel Luther Bagwell Jr was born on March 22, 1913 in Tennessee, the son of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell Sr (1883–1950) and Lillie B (Moore) Bagwell (9 Sep 1887-Mar 1971).

He was married on March 9, 1939 to Jean S -- (1917–1982).

Vice President of Bagwell Preserving Company and living at 222 Wilsonia(?) Drive in Nashville, he was 40 years old and married when he died at home of pancreatic cancer on February 14, 1954. Burial was the next day in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.

     Walter Moore Bagwell was born on 1 January 1918 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. He was the son of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell and Lillie Butler Moore. Walter Moore Bagwell married Ruth G after 1935. He served in the US Army from 14 April 1944 to 5 May 1946 during World War II. Walter Moore Bagwell married Betty Jacqueline Rogers on 13 November 1946. Walter Moore Bagwell married Rhoda Bright after 1950. Walter Moore Bagwell lived in 1954 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He died on 27 October 1973 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at age 55. He was buried on 29 October 1973 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee.

     Sergeant Edward Bentley Bagwell was born on 1 March 1919 in Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell and Lillie Butler Moore. Sergeant Edward Bentley Bagwell married Joyce Hall Clark after 1940. He served in the US Army in the Field Artillery (Serial Number: 20429287) branch during World War II. Sergeant Edward Bentley Bagwell lived in 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama. He died on 9 December 1987 in Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, at age 68.¹ He was buried on 18 December 1987 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.¹

     Andromedia Bagwell was born on 28 September 1920 in Smyrna, Rutherford County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell and Lillie Butler Moore. As of 30 May 1941,her married name was Noel. Andromedia Bagwell married John Hopkins Noel on 30 May 1941. Andromedia Bagwell died on 5 January 2011 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, at age 90

NOEL, Andromedia Bagwell Age 90 of Nashville, passed away on January 5, 2011. Born in Smyrna, TN to the late Nathanial Luther Bagwell, Sr. and Lillie Moore Bagwell, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John Hopkins Noel, Jr. Known for her caring spirit, she had an extraordinary zeal and passion for life. She was a people person. A graduate of Hume Fogg High School, she graduated from Vanderbilt University in the class of 1941. A former Miss Vanderbilt and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, she was the first woman to serve as captain of the Vanderbilt Cheerleaders. After marrying Mr. Noel in 1941, she was proud to serve as a Grey Lady during World War II while her husband was held as a prisoner of war in Germany for two years. An accomplished woman with a positive nature, she loved spending time with her friends and family, as well as serving the community in many ways, including the Executive Committee of the Junior League of Nashville, and the Executive Boards of the Crippled Childrens' Home and the West End Home for Ladies. She was a member of the James K. Polk Society, the Hermitage Association, the Vanderbilt Aid Society, Cheekwood, Belle Meade Country Club and the Centennial Club. She especially enjoyed being a member of the Charlotte-Minnie Pearl Tennis group for many years. First and foremost, Andromedia was a faithful and devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church in Nashville, and cherished her work with the Women of the Church, and being closely involved with other members of the congregation. One of six children, each of whom preceded her in death, her two sisters were Sara Bagwell Angel and Mary Bagwell Rice, and her three brothers were Nathanial Luther Bagwell, Jr., Walter Moore Bagwell and Edward Bentley Bagwell. Andromedia is survived by her three sons, John Hopkins Noel III (Melinda Welton), Lee Francis Noel (Emily) and Arthur Bagwell Noel. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, John Edward Noel, Atlanta, GA, Andrew Dunn Noel (Dixie), Portland, OR, Andrea Christina Noel, Sarasota, FL, Lois Emily Noel, Brittany Jade Noel, Tallahassee, FL, Lee Francis Noel, Jr; and one great- grandchild, Milo Edward Noel, Portland, OR. Her family extends their deepest gratitude and thanks to Dr. Karl VanDevender and Dr. Byron Haitas, as well as the residential and health care staffs at Richland Place for the love and care they gave to her. The family is planning a visitation on Monday, January 10th from 10 a.m. - 12 Noon, in Courtenay Hall of First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Road in Nashville. A Memorial service will immediately follow in the church sanctuary. The Reverend Todd Jones will officiate.

     John Hopkins Noel was born in 1917. He married Andromedia Bagwell, daughter of Nathaniel Luther Bagwell and Lillie Butler Moore, on 30 May 1941. He was held as a prisoner of war in Germany for two years. John Hopkins Noel died in 2002.

     Mary Bertie Lee "Bertie" Rochester was born on 28 December 1912 in Washington. As of 12 September 1931,her married name was Bagwell. She married Frank Joshua Bagwell, son of George Washington Bagwell and Katherine "Kate" Miessen, on 12 September 1931.¹ Mary Bertie Lee "Bertie" Rochester died on 9 January 1990 in Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington, at age 77. She was buried at Wenatchee City Cemetery, Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington.

Joe Arthur Bagwell, born December 24, 1936, entered into rest with our loving Lord on August 15, 2015. Joe was born to Mary Bertie Lee and Frank J. Bagwell in Chelan, WA. He grew up ranching with three sisters: Vera, Jane and Shirley.
Joe graduated from Chelan High School in 1956 and served with the U.S. Air
Force for four years before working with Wen Air Alaska and the Boeing Company. Joe met his wife, Cynthia, while stationed at McCord Air Force Base in Tacoma, WA. Together, they had three boys: Brian, Allen and Glen. Joe was a functional test electrician, where he would initiate “power on” to completed Boeing 737’s. Joe retired from Boeing and resided in the Wenatchee Valley. In retirement, Joe enjoyed his family, friends, eating out for breakfast and coffee, metal detecting, fishing and watching the Atlanta Braves.

Joe is survived by Brian Bagwell of Wenatchee, WA, Allen Bagwell of Oakland, CA, Glen (Jennifer) Bagwell of Riverside, CA; and three grandchildren: Jayden, Taryn and Conrad; sister, Vera Sorenson, Entiat, WA.
