     George Henry Goff was born on 12 October 1892 in Alto, Cherokee County, Texas. He was the son of Zachariah R. Goff and Mary Ann Wood. He enlisted in the US Army 23 February 1918 and served during World War I in Company L, 359 Infantry, 90th Division. He was discahrged on June 24, 1919. George Henry Goff died on 29 August 1949 in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, at age 56. He was buried at Old Palestine Cemetery, Alto, Cherokee County, Texas.

     Daisy Ethel Goff was born on 27 November 1894. She was the daughter of Zachariah R. Goff and Mary Ann Wood. As of 12 November 1911,her married name was Ash. Daisy Ethel Goff married Lee Ash on 12 November 1911 at Cherokee County, Texas. Daisy Ethel Goff died on 9 July 1933 at age 38. She was buried at Old Palestine Cemetery, Alto, Cherokee County, Texas.

He spent time in San Quentin Prison, Marin County, California, for forgery in 17 June 1946. Leonard Thomas Bagwell died on 9 December 1992 in Clayton County, Georgia, at age 68.

     James Willis Bagwell was also known as James Withers Bagwell. He was born on 25 August 1935 in Charlotte, Mecklenberg County, North Carolina. He was the son of Harold A. Bagwell and Addie Mae Snipes. James Willis Bagwell married Shirley Carolina Bentley after 1953. James Willis Bagwell died on 14 October 2005 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, at age 70. He was buried at Lancaster Memorial Park, Lancaster, Lancaster County, North Carolina.

     Shirley Carolina Bentley was born on 19 November 1938 in Hickory, North Carolina. As of after 1953,her married name was Bagwell. She married James Willis Bagwell, son of Harold A. Bagwell and Addie Mae Snipes, after 1953. Shirley Carolina Bentley died on 4 September 2024 in Lancaster, South Carolina, at age 85


Mrs. Shirley Carolina Bentley Bagwell, 85, of Lancaster, widow of James Willis Bagwell, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at her home. She was born November 19, 1938 in Hickory, NC, a daughter of the late Jay D. Bentley and Lois Stine Bentley. Mrs. Bagwell was a devout Christian member of Wade Memorial Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed quilting, reading, cross stitching and going to the beach.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Bagwell will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 2 p.m. from the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating.

Mrs. Bagwell is survived by a son, James Wendell Bagwell of Lancaster; a daughter, Rhonda Kay Luther of Lancaster; a brother, Larry Bentley; a sister, Brenda Kay McNaughton; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Barrs; a grandson, Josh Bagwell (Olivia); and two great-grandchildren, Paisleigh Bagwell and Rhett Bagwell.

Dorothy Harriett Vogel died on 6 November 1998 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at age 70.

     Deborah Sue Engram was born on 27 August 1957 in Grayson County, Texas. She was the daughter of John Emmett Engram and Dorothy Harriett Vogel. As of after 1976,her married name was White. Deborah Sue Engram married (?) White after 1976.

     James R. Engram is the son of John Emmett Engram and Dorothy Harriett Vogel.

     Steven Engram is the son of John Emmett Engram and Dorothy Harriett Vogel.

Carlton Eddie Engram married Camilla Glass before 1920. Carlton Eddie Engram died on 27 July 1952 in Pansey, Houston County, Alabama, at age 60. He was buried on 28 July 1952 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Pansey, Houston County, Alabama.

     Camilla Glass was born on 14 September 1892. As of before 1920,her married name was Engram. She married Carlton Eddie Engram, son of Edward Taylor Engram and Mary Annie Moore, before 1920.
