Mrs. Mary Ruth Bagwell Cunningham, 95, of 620 East Howell Street, Hartwell, died Saturday, March 17 at Hartwell Health Care Center.

Born on March 11, 1917 in the Goldmine Community of Hart County GA, she was the daughter of the late James Callie Bagwell and Bertie Pruitt Bagwell. Mrs. Cunningham worked for Hartwell Garment Company, Miss Melba's Kindergarten and retired from the Hart County School System, where she was a paraprofessional at Eagle Grove and Airline Elementary Schools. After retiring, she worked as a Wal-Mart greeter until she retired the second time at age 80. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda C. Chipman of Buford GA; her son, Luther M. Cunningham III of Hartwell; her grandson, Luther M. "Marty" Cunningham IV and his wife Kim of Kennesaw GA; four grandsons, Thomas Martin Cunningham of Cabot AR, Erik Perez, Aleks Perez and Markus Perez all of Kennesaw GA and a daughter-in-law, Margaret Bloomberg of Hartwell also survive. Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L. M. Cunningham Jr; her son-in-law, Alan D. Chipman; seven brothers, J.C. Bagwell, Thomas Bagwell, Glenn Bagwell, Frank Bagwell, Mac Bagwell, Ralph Bagwell and Hoyt Bagwell and two sisters, Merle B. Snelling and Ina E. Bagwell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. R. Allen Stewart and Rev. Eddie Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The family is at the home. Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 200 East Howell Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.

Harris, 73, of Route 1, Box 128, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1992.
Burial will be in Graniteville Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris, a native of Anderson, had retired from the Warrenville Division of the Graniteville Co. She had lived in Graniteville for 50 years and was a member of Christian Heritage Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Harris Sr; a daughter, Patricia Grover, Graniteville; a son, Wilbur Harris Jr., Graniteville; two sisters, Frances Sprouse, North Augusta, and Bessie Lee McGahee, Honea Path; and four grandchildren.

     Wilbur Wallace Harris Sr. was born on 8 October 1916 in Fulton County, Georgia.¹ He married Arlene Bagwell, daughter of Columbus B. Bagwell and Lillian Gunnells, before 1957. Wilbur Wallace Harris Sr. died on 7 February 2002 in Aiken, South Carolina, at age 85 Entered into rest February 7, 2002, Mr. Wilbur Wallace Harris Sr., age 85, of Aiken, husband of the late Alene Bagwell Harris, son of the late William M. Harris Sr., and the late Alberta Pledger Harris.
He is survived by a daughter, Patricia H. Grover; a son, Wilbur Harris Jr; a brother, Edward "Bo" Harris; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Mr. Harris was a World War II Army veteran.
The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery, Graniteville, S.C.

Eunice Gambrell died on 2 July 2001 in Clinton, South Carolina, at age 90.¹ She was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Laurens, Laurens County, South Carolina.¹

     David Aaron Bagwell Sr. was born on 4 June 1940 in South Carolina. He was the son of Aaron Bagwell and Eunice Gambrell. David Aaron Bagwell Sr. married JoAnne Padgett after 1955. David Aaron Bagwell Sr. died on 3 July 2011 in Laurens, South Carolina, at age 71 David A. Bagwell, Sr. age 71 of 101 Jennifer Lane died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his home. He was born in Belton, SC and was a son of the late Aaron and Eunice Grambrell Bagwell. Mr. Bagwell retired from Torrington Bearing Company and attended Bellview Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, JoAnne Padgett Bagwell of the home; three sons, David A. Bagwell, Jr. and wife, Cindy of Clinton, Ronald L. Bagwell and wife, Denise of Laurens, Gary Lee Bagwell of Laurens; one sister, Sara Hanvey and husband, Hoyt of Clinton; grandchildren, Kristin and April Bagwell, Tashna Bagwell, Ronald Bagwell, Jr., Chelsea Bagwell and Stephanie Bagwell, step-grandchildren, Christopher and Carly Patterson; great grandchildren, Torin Massey, Leigha Ashmore , Brady Ashmore, Jacey Ashmore. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, July 4th at 11:00 A.M. at the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Gray Funeral Home of Laurens in charge of arrangements. He was buried at Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery #1, Laurens County, South Carolina.

     Eva Mae Lollis was born on 18 August 1917. As of October 1935,her married name was Bagwell. She married William Alfred Bagwell, son of Henry Burress Bagwell and Mallie Eugenia Lollis, in October 1935. Eva Mae Lollis died on 23 December 2006 in Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 89. She was buried at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina.
