Bagwell and Martha D. Stevens, on 7 February 1925. Lucy Cornelia Wells and an unknown person were divorced on 14 November 1928 at Norfolk, Virginia. She died in August 1982 at age 76.

     June Elizabeth Bagwell was born on 8 November 1925 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Robert Herbert Bagwell and Lucy Cornelia Wells. June Elizabeth Bagwell died in 1995.

     Jeanneane Yvonne Bagwell was born on 24 January 1930 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Robert Herbert Bagwell and Lucy Cornelia Wells. Jeanneane Yvonne Bagwell married Robert Alfred Winters after 1940. Jeanneane Yvonne Bagwell died on 10 February 1983 in Washington, District of Columbia, at age 53.

     Robert Alfred Winters was born on 31 July 1925 in Newark, New Jersey. He married Jeanneane Yvonne Bagwell, daughter of Robert Herbert Bagwell and Lucy Cornelia Wells, after 1940. Robert Alfred Winters died on 1 May 2012 in Clinton, Maryland, at age 86.

     Frank Walker Butterworth was born on 25 November 1893 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg City, Virginia. He married Maude Bell Bagwell, daughter of Lonnie D. Bagwell and Martha D. Stevens, after 1910. Frank Walker Butterworth lived from 1917 to 1950 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg City, Virginia. He and Maude Bell Bagwell lived in 1949 in Rustburg, Virginia.      Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. was born on 26 August 1926 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was the son of Eugene Grant Bagwell and Emma Virginia Hogart. He was a World War II veteran and served in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. married Dorothy (?) circa 1945. Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. married Betty Lane Riley after 1950. Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. and Betty Lane Riley were divorced in July 1961 at Dade County, Florida. Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. died on 10 April 1976 in Maryland at age 49. He was buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Prince George's County, Maryland.

     Betty Lane Riley was also known as Elizabeth Lane Riley. She was born on 5 February 1935 in East Oakland, Garrett County, Maryland. She married Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr., son of Eugene Grant Bagwell and Emma Virginia Hogart, after 1950. Betty Lane Riley and Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. were divorced in July 1961 at Dade County, Florida. As of July 1961,her married name was Bagwell. As of 8 August 1969,her married name was Cuddy. Betty Lane Riley married Marcus Duane Cuddy on 8 August 1969 at Arlington County, Virginia. Betty Lane Riley died on 25 October 2010 in Panama City, Florida, at age 75.

     Dana Driesch Bagwell is the son of Eugene Grant Bagwell. Dana Driesch Bagwell married Jacqueline Joyce Michaud on 3 June 1972 at Lyme, New London County, Connecticut.

     Robert M. Bagwell was born on 23 August 1948 in Middletown, Connecticut. He was the son of Eugene Grant Bagwell. Robert M. Bagwell married Alexis M. Geiger on 4 December 1971 at East Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut. Robert M. Bagwell and Alexis M. Geiger were divorced in 1981 at Lyme, Connecticut. Robert M. Bagwell died on 16 February 2011 in Gladeview Healthcare, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, at age 62


Robert M. Bagwell, 62, of Ferry Rd., Hadlyme, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Gladeview healthcare in Old Saybrook. Mr. Bagwell was born on August 23, 1948 in Middletown the son of Eugene and Norma Driesch Bagwell. He served in the Navy from 1967-1971 during the Vietnam war. He was employed for many years as an Engineer at Middlesex Hospital and was the owner of Heart of Stone masonry. Mr. Bagwell is survived by his son Grant Bagwell and his wife Rebecca of Lyme, his Mother Norma Bagwell of Hadlyme, his Brother Dana Bagwell and his wife Jackie of Hadlyme, and his two grandchildren India and Mason Bagwell. He is predeceased by his father Eugene. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:00am in Hadlyme Congregational Church. Interment will be private.
