     Patrick Leslie Goff was born on 10 March 1976 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama. He was the son of Lawrence Vincent Goff and Jane Buck. Patrick Leslie Goff married Angela Maurin after 1995. Patrick Leslie Goff died on 20 July 2014 in Daphne, Baldwin County, Alabama, at age 38

Patrick Leslie Goff died July 20, 2014 at his home in Daphne, AL after a 2 year shootout with cancer. Patrick was devoted to his Catholic Faith and his family. He attended St. Pius X Elementary School, McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and received his Bachelor of Science from Spring Hill College. He was employed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences as the Assistant Section Chief of Biology. Patrick worked closely with the District Attorneys' offices in many south Alabama counties processing evidence obtained from crime scenes and testifying as an expert witness. He grew up loving Mardi Gras and was a legacy member of a Mobile Society. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan, watching and attending at every opportunity. In his young adult life, he was very active refereeing CYO basketball and playing softball. He began playing club soccer in college as a member of the local football club "Clang" continuing through his adult life. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Vincent Goff Sr. He is survived by his wife, his children, his mother, brothers, sister and extended family consisting of numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and life-long friends.

     Thomas Alphonse Goff was born on 2 December 1936. He was the son of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell. Thomas Alphonse Goff married Virginia Faye (?) in July 1958 at Mobile County, Alabama. Thomas Alphonse Goff married Lois S after 1959. Thomas Alphonse Goff died on 6 July 2016 at age 79. He was buried at Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.

     Virginia Faye (?) was born on 27 January 1941 in Grove Hill, Clarke County, Alabama. As of July 1958,her married name was Goff. She married Thomas Alphonse Goff, son of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell, in July 1958 at Mobile County, Alabama. Virginia Faye (?) died on 9 October 2003 in Thomasville, Clarke County, Alabama, at age 62.

     Lois S married Thomas Alphonse Goff, son of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell, after 1959.

     William Edward Goff was born on 23 February 1930 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama. He was the son of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell. William Edward Goff died on 15 December 2022 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, at age 92. He was buried at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Tillmans Corner, Mobile County, Alabama.

     Elizabeth Ann Goff was born on 17 May 1939 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell. As of after 1967,her married name was Wampler. Elizabeth Ann Goff married Richard Eugene Wampler after 1967. Elizabeth Ann Goff died on 18 May 2023 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, at age 84


Elizabeth “Betty” Goff Wampler – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Thursday, May 18, 2023 in a local health care facility. Betty was employed with the University of South Alabama Bookstore for 10 years and retired from the Visitation Monastery Gift Shop after 20 years of service.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Wampler; her parents, Michael Joseph and Martha Ellen Mitchell Goff; five brothers, Michael Joseph Goff, Jr., Lawrence Vincent Goff, Sr., William Edward “Billy” Goff, Sr., Thomas Alphonse “Tommy” Goff, Sr., and Charles Richard Goff, Sr; and four sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Mary Margaret “Peggy” Goff, Judith Elaine Courtney, and Catherine Louise Johnson.

Betty is survived by seven children, Charles Michael (Lisa) Richardson, William Lawrence Richardson, Steven James Richardson, Mark Anthony (Alison) Richardson, David Allen Richardson, Darryl Eugene Richardson, and Ellen Marie (James Lynn) Turner; four sisters, Martha Patricia “Pat” (John) Wilcox, Agnes Rosalie Hrabar, Joan Cecelia (E.T.) Rolison, and Marilyn Theresa “Terri” (Ellis) Courtney; one brother, Mitchell James (Diane) Goff; two sisters-in-law, Martha Goff and Jane Goff; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday at the Church with Reverend Monsignor James Kee, J.V. as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Visitation Monastery, 2300 Springhill Avenue, Mobile, Alabama 36607. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

     Richard Eugene Wampler was born on 7 January 1947. He married Elizabeth Ann Goff, daughter of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell, after 1967. Richard Eugene Wampler died on 11 December 2018 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, at age 71.

     Martha P. Goff was born on 24 September 1942 in Mobile County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell. Martha P. Goff died on 6 September 2004 at age 61. She was buried at Spring Hill Memorial Gardens, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.

     Agnes Rosaline Goff is the daughter of Michael Joseph Goff and Martha Ellen Mitchell. Agnes Rosaline Goff married (?) Hrabar after 1963.

     Alfred Lewis Goff was born circa 1845 in Alabama. He was the son of William Goff and Mary Jane Raeford.

     James Irwin Goff was also known as James Erwin Goff. He was born on 13 July 1847 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.¹ He was the son of William Goff and Mary Jane Raeford. James Irwin Goff married Mary Francis Overstreet on 3 February 1879 at Mobile County, Alabama. James Irwin Goff died on 13 February 1922 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, at age 74.¹ He was buried at Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.¹

     Mary Francis Overstreet was born in 1849.¹ As of 22 April 1863,her married name was Patterson. She married Thomas Patterson on 22 April 1863 at Mobile County, Alabama. As of 3 February 1879,her married name was Goff. Mary Francis Overstreet married James Irwin Goff, son of William Goff and Mary Jane Raeford, on 3 February 1879 at Mobile County, Alabama. Mary Francis Overstreet was buried on 25 May 1910 at Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.¹ She died on 25 May 1910.¹

     Thomas Patterson married Mary Francis Overstreet on 22 April 1863 at Mobile County, Alabama.

     Harvey Bagwell was born on 21 June 1890 in Georgia. He married Vertie Hunt in 1927. Harvey Bagwell died on 28 September 1930 in Cleveland County, North Carolina, at age 40. He was buried at Lawndale First Baptist Church Cemetery, Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina.

     Vertie Hunt was born on 4 March 1900 in North Carolina. As of after 1917,her married name was Barron. She married James Barron after 1917. As of 1927,her married name was Bagwell. Vertie Hunt married Harvey Bagwell in 1927. Vertie Hunt died on 14 March 1958 in Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina, at age 58. She was buried at Brooks Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina.

     James Barron married Vertie Hunt after 1917.

     Iva Me Beggs was born on 7 December 1905 in Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kanas. As of before 1929,her married name was Goff. She married Harvey Henry Goff, son of Isaac Henry Goff and Mae Jane Stearns, before 1929. Iva Me Beggs died on 25 November 1992 in Fort Scott, Bourbon County, Kanas, at age 86. She was buried at Rosedale Cemetery, Porterville, Bourbon County, Kansas.

     Harley Thurman Goff was born in 1929 in Hepler, Kanas. He was the son of Harvey Henry Goff and Iva Me Beggs. Harley Thurman Goff married Clydene Etolia Cole after 1940. Harley Thurman Goff married Janet H. Crenshaw on 30 October 1954 at King County, Washington. Harley Thurman Goff died in 1997. He was buried at Rosedale Cemetery, Porterville, Bourbon County, Kanas.

     Janet H. Crenshaw married Harley Thurman Goff, son of Harvey Henry Goff and Iva Me Beggs, on 30 October 1954 at King County, Washington.

     Clydene Etolia Cole was born on 7 November 1925. As of after 1940,her married name was Goff. She married Harley Thurman Goff, son of Harvey Henry Goff and Iva Me Beggs, after 1940. Clydene Etolia Cole died on 23 November 1989 at age 64. She was buried at Rosedale Cemetery, Porterville, Bourbon County, Kanas.

     Albert Issac Goff Sr. was born on 17 November 1900 in Crawford County, Kansas. He was the son of Isaac Henry Goff and Mae Jane Stearns. Albert Issac Goff Sr. married Mildred Eva Beggs before 1922. Albert Issac Goff Sr. married Carrie Hasting before 1950. Albert Issac Goff Sr. died on 1 February 1972 in Garden City, Kansas, at age 71. He was buried at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City, Finney County, Kansas.

     Carrie Hasting was born on 26 October 1911. As of before 1950,her married name was Goff. She married Albert Issac Goff Sr., son of Isaac Henry Goff and Mae Jane Stearns, before 1950. Carrie Hasting died on 8 May 2002 at age 90. She was buried at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City, Finney County, Kansas.
